Helfy Privacy Policy

Helfy is Honesty Electrical's focused field companion, backed by the company's private HELF operating system. This policy explains information used for authenticated job access, field assistance, company records, security, and support.
Information we process
- Employee account identifiers such as name, email, internal user ID, role, and project assignments.
- Internal job, customer, project, work-package, operational, safety, financial, and audit records entered by authorized company users.
- Photos, videos, documents, and other files an authorized user deliberately selects or captures.
- Helfy conversation text, including speech-to-text transcripts. HELF does not store the raw microphone recording used for native dictation.
- Operational diagnostics, audit events, feature actions, and security records needed to keep the service reliable and accountable.
How information is used
Information is used only for app functionality: authentication, permission enforcement, project work, estimating, document interpretation, company recordkeeping, customer communication initiated by an authorized user, safety guidance, support, security, and diagnostics. Helfy does not sell personal information, serve advertising, or track users across other companies' apps and websites.
Photos, camera, microphone, and files
Camera and microphone access is requested only for deliberate job-media capture and voice dictation. Photos, videos, and files remain private until the user selects them. The system does not request unrestricted access to the employee's photo library. Field-media analysis is advisory and is not an inspection, permit approval, AHJ decision, or compliance certification.
Service providers
HELF uses contracted cloud hosting, database/storage, email, and owner-configured artificial-intelligence providers to perform requested features. Data is limited by HELF permissions and sent only as needed for the requested operation. Provider credentials are managed centrally and are never entered by field employees.
Retention and Company Vault
Business and audit records are retained according to Honesty Electrical's operational, contractual, legal, and security needs. Approved corrections and new operating rules are retained in Company Vault so the company does not lose reviewed knowledge. Retention requirements may limit deletion of financial, safety, project, or audit records.
Security and access
Access requires an approved HELF account. Roles, project assignments, upload permissions, financial visibility, and review controls are enforced server-side. Public health checks remain read-only; active database and storage canaries require authentication.
Account and data requests
Helfy does not offer public self-service account creation. Honesty Electrical administrators provision employee accounts. An employee may request access correction, account removal, or deletion of eligible personal data through the Helfy Support page. Records that must be retained for legal, contractual, safety, financial, or audit purposes may be preserved.
